Welcome to the JTF teams for STC and STA for January 2027!

This page has links to lots of important details for JTF. As we get closer, we will also add additional information for reference here. Learn all about JTF in the purple slides below.

Things to note:

All students must be enrolled and attending summer training (evening classes and/or age-appropriate summer camp/intensive training) at Showtime Academy.
All students must be enrolled and attending Theatre Dance Technique class for the 26/27 season. Missed classes must be made up by Nov. 15th or students may be removed from the adjudication piece.
Entrance fees are due by July 25th. If using CDYC/Dreamer funds, they must be received by that date.
CDYC funds to be applied to jackets or meal plans must be received by August 15th. All other CDYC funds will be applied to tuition.
The JTF event does have a competitive component. Although winning is not our focus, doing our best is. Therefore, all team members must be doing their best at all times. We reserve the right to remove team members from the adjudication piece if they miss too many rehearsals, do not keep up with the material, or do not show positive leadership and teamwork.
Team members in “alternate” status must be able to show that their skill sets are in line with the rest of the team, no later than 30 days before the event, to be considered for adjudication participation. If they are not ready by then, they will continue as a part of the team in all other JTF events, except for adjudication.
