With over 30 years of combined experience in professional dance, musical theatre, and technical theatre, Jennifer and Robert Read are raising the bar for Performing Arts Education in the York County area. Training programs, auditions, and productions, are run in a manner consistent with that of the professional dance and musical theatre world, with a focus on building character, confidence and leadership skills.
Training not only artists, but confident leaders.
Showtime Academy Rock Hill is also home to Showtime Theatre Company. Together these companies promote the overall growth of our students and participants, in an all-inclusive environment. We invite participants from our diverse community and do not discriminate based on age, economic status, religion, creed, race, or other factors. We believe the arts are to be celebrated and shared by all and can bridge gaps and build community. We understand that not all of our students and participants will go on to become professional artists, so we are training them to be more than artists. We are training them to be valuable and confident members of their greater community. We focus on compassionate servant leadership. Leadership in the studio, leadership onstage and offstage, leadership in their homes, schools and organizations.
"The confidence, boldness, and passion he has now is unbelievable. Dedication, hardwork, teamwork, professionalism, and so much more! "
