Students learn that hardwork, practice and repetition can create great results. They gain confidence in ther airtistic and leadeship skills.
Students have multiple opportunities to perform, to showcase their skills and feel the payoff of applause for all of their hardwork.
Our TNT students are typically teens and tweens (6th-12th). Our academy is leadership focused, and offers Triple Threat training in Dance, Acting and Music. The program runs late August through July. Our Curriculum includes Theatre Dance Technique and Acting/ Voice Class as core courses. Students can also take electives covering more topics and interests, including mainstage productions, instruments, art and more.
In the TNT Basic Curriculum, students will take 2 core courses or 1 core course and 1 elective August 29-June 1, then June 12-July 28th they can choose 2 evening classes or 1 Summer Intensive Camp Week.
In the TNT Immersive Curriculum (formerly the Unlimited Plan), students will take 1-2 core courses and 2 or more electives August 29-June 1, then June 12-July 28th they can choose the evening classes, Summer Intensive and/or participate in Matilda (depending on casting).
Core Course: Our Theatre Dance Technique classes focus on Jazz and Ballet techniques as they are applied in musical theatre applications. Students will learn to adapt to a variety of styles, to become well rounded movers, dancers and performers. *Teacher evaluation will determine which level a student will excel in.
Core Course: This combo class teaches vocal and acting techniques, including understanding sheet music, dynamics, projection, improvisation, scene work and more. Students explore a variety of styles, and build confidence, projection and teamwork skills. *Teacher evaluation will determine which level a student will excel in.
We offer a variety of elective classes for our TNT students throughout the year, such as intermediate and advanced Tap, Hip Hop, audition workshops, Art (See descriptions below), Ukulele, Bucket Drums, Theatre Exploration, Junior Theatre festival Team, Mainstage productions, and more.
Art 1: Students will meet once weekly for visual arts class. Students will explore two dimensional mediums including drawing and painting as well as experimenting with introductory three dimensional projects. This is a hands on class where students will explore a variety of materials to build artistic skills and create works of self expression.
Art 2: Students will meet once weekly for visual arts class. Students will explore problem solving, collaboration, and creative self expression, using varied materials including painting, drawing, collage, and an introduction to sculpture.
Week long Musical Theatre Summer Intensive, 9-4 with training, rehearsals and a final revue performance , with guest instructors, th week of June 26th.
We offer private lessons in voice, music, public speaking and more. We can customize training for each student, depending on their skill levels and interests.
In partnership with Showtime Theatre Company, we offer multiple performance opportunities. throughout the year.
Registration for mainstage productions for 6th-12th graders is open until Sept 15th, for our Winter Production, and March 15th (for our summer production). Students participating in our mainstage productions must also be enrolled in at least one of our ongoing training classes, thus enrolled in our Basic Curriculum as a minimum.
All students will also have the opportunity to perform in Rock Hill's Christmasville, and our Summer Kick Off Talent Showcase.
In partnership with Showtime Theatre Company and New Covenant Church of Rock Hill, we will offer a Free York County Youth Community Chorus, Sunday nights, 6-7PM. Open to all who are interested.
We have an opportunity to offer Pastor Led Youth Groups in tandem with the Community Chorus, and a Pastor led meet up group for kids with anxiety, if there is enough interest.

Our TNT students have the option to participate in Crazy For You Youth Edition (Performs in February 2023) and the opportunity to audition for Matilda (Performs in July 2023). Main stage productions count as an Elective in the program. Participation in main stage productions requires enrollment in either our Basic or Immersive Curriculum for K-12th. Main stage productions require a $75 costume use fee, added to tuition in October for our Winter and Spring productions and added in April for our Summer Production. Note: After performances for Crazy For You, students will remain in their weekly Thursday rehearsal time and work on a student driven studio production of Annie Kids to present in April, then transition to Matilda rehearsals Tuesdays and Thursdays, or a Scene work class Thursdays, preparing a piece for the showcase.
All students in our training programs have the opportunity to perform in Rock Hill's Christmasville Festival, December 3rd or 4th, with a dress rehearsal the evening before. (Dates/times will be determined by festival personnel in the fall). Students will also have the opportunity to perform in our It's Showtime Talent Showcase, June 3rd, 2023, with tech rehearsal the day before and dress rehearsal the day of. Costume Fees for the Talent Showcase will vary per dance class, no fees apply for other styles of training.

1. Complete the Registration Form- You will choose classes, billing dates etc.
2. Update Your Student Portal Account- Use the email address you already have on file to either update or create a new account. Make sure contact and billing information is up to date. (Note- make sure the contact information you use accepts mass e-mails or you have added info@showtimeacademyrh.com to the safe sender list)
3. Sign a Waiver: Using the link that will be emailed to you if you do not already have a waiver on file in that portal.
Tuition can be paid in 2 formats.
Paid in Full through July for a 15% discount.
Paid in monthly payments, with a minimum of $199 down, for both the Basic and Immersive Curriculums, with monthly payments of $150 for Basic and $199 for Immersive. ($175 for one core course and Crazy For You rehearsals)
Note- All students registered prior to August 10th can save $99 on the down payment or paid in full cost.
Note- All students who were in the grandfathered in UNLIMITED plan last year, will remain on the same payment plan.
-Monthly tuition payments are calculated based on an 11month schedule and divided into convenient payments per month. Tuition remains the same no matter how many weeks are in the month.
-Tuition is run through auto draft only, no cash or check.
- Monthly Tuition Payments can be reduced with a larger down payment, or tuition credits from participation in CDYC
Students should wear pink or white tops or leotards, pink, white or black tights or dance pants. Ballet or jazz shoes.
